Week 10: Course Completion

Hello Everyone,

This week declares the end of our online course and the starting point to implement what we have learned in our course in our practical life. Accordingly, I would like first to thank the US embassy in Iraq for this on line course (E-Teacher Building Teaching Skills Through the Interactive Web), our course instructor brilliant Donna from University of Oregon, the moon of our course, and the surrounding stars my course cooperative colleagues. I won't forget to mention the hidden course co-worker gems whose work marvelously appears.

The course is amazing we studied various topics; most of them are useful and helped me to succeed in the course like the ABCD model for writing learning objectives, the blog I have created, and the interactive PowerPoint presentation. The most useful for me during the course is the guidelines for discussions and discussion rubric because through them I learned how to gain the appropriate mark for success in the course.

For the present time I shall use the interactive PowerPoint presentations and the online exercises in my classes. Almost all of the materials we have studied are important and any teacher needs to master them. Because they are new, meet the needs of our students and cope with our modern digital world. Before the course, I had a small amount of information about how can we exploit technology in our classes to improve our instruction but now I have learned too much. Therefore I am looking forward to participate in the future courses which I am sure are going to be amazing like this one!

May each new day bring a feeling of excitement, joy, smile and a wonderful sense of expectation. Expect the best and you will get it!

  5. Dear Diana and Oliver,

I am so grateful for your comments, and I am so glad to know such brilliant friends as you. I am sure we will remain on contact through our closed group on face book, it was a great idea of our smart colleague Nsah Mala.
